I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from Xavier University of Louisiana with a degree in Business Management, I worked in corporate America for many years before transitioning in to the field of education.        I have been at Wilder since it opened in 2007 and this is my 14th year with Alvin ISD.

Prior to my current position as Wilder’s Math Instructional Coach, I taught 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade; Math and Physical Education (Harby Jr. High and Nolan Ryan Jr. High). In 2013, I was very fortunate to be selected by my peers as Wilder's campus Teacher of the Year before going on to also be selected as Alvin ISD's District Teacher of the Year as well. I am also a published author.  I wrote a kids/family book entitled "Can We Get Back" and was offered a book publishing deal which I gladly accepted. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and cheering on my New Orleans Saints. Who Dat!
