About Me

  • I graduated from Alvin High School, where I was an Elementary Assistant, in 2003 in the top 5% of my class. From there I attended the University of Houston and received my Bachelors Of Science in Elementary Education, graduating with high honors in December of 2007. I was a member of the Alvin High School Jacketeers all four years of high school, serving as Leuitenant my junior and senior years. From there I minored in dance at the University of Houston and have taught in several dance studios in the Houston area. I founded AISD first elementary dance team, the Marek Marlin Movers. From there the desire to dance grew into the junior high level and I am so happy to see all of our junior highs offering dance to our students!

I have two beautful daughters, Madison who is 15 and Gia who is 2 years old! I love spending time with my girls and my family. I love tropical beaches and going to the movies! My family enjoys traveling and taking quick weekend get aways to Austin or San Antonio. My passion for dance began at the age of 3 when I took my first ballet class! I have been dancing ever since! I have a passion for teaching dance technique to my students to ensure they have a good foundation to grow upon.

This will be my 13th year as a public educator. This will be my fourth year at NRJH as a dance educator!  I am so excited to provide your student with a well rounded dance education!
