Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Anneke Williams

I was raised in San Antonio, TX. I played several sports growing up, was in the marching band and many clubs. It was during my high school years that I found my love of teaching through coaching Special Olympics and helping in the special education classrooms.

This begins my 29th year teaching and my 12th year at ADAPT. I've taught in 3 different states and 10 different cities. I truly believe my experiences have given me a well-rounded view of education and exposure to some of the finest intervention programs offered.

I am married with two smart, beautiful and talented girls. My oldest has completed her freshman year at WTAMU. She is seeking a degree in Equine Business and Industry. My now senior plays all sports, but her love is basketball. She is enrolled in Dual Credit courses and hopes to gain an associate's in general studies from ACC along with her high school diploma. They both have a full course load to go along with their outside activities. We are also the proud parents of two dogs...well, they are our daughters'. Guess you could call us puppy grandparents.

We are all experiencing life a bit differently now. But if you treat everyone with kindness, we will all make it through this together.

More than anything, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love volleyball, softball, and weight training. My guilty pleasure is watching crime mystery shows and at the opposite end of the spectrum, comedies. I also have a thirst for knowledge in the area of human behavior. I enjoy studying and researching how and why people behave the way they do. I like to help people deal with the struggles of life whether it is academic, social, emotional, or physical.

I genuinely care for our students at ADAPT. I believe I can help them realize how much potential they have and how much they truly matter. I look forward to a great 2020-2021 school year.
