What are some ideas for a healthy snack?
We are encouraging that snacks consist of items such as: goldfish, pretzels, crackers, pre-popped popcorn, string cheese, and cheese nips, bananas, cut up apples, or grapes. We are asking that snacks NOT consist of anything that requires a spoon, fork or refrigeration. Also, please DO NOT SEND ANYTHING WITH NUTS (such as peanut butter crackers or peanuts, almonds, cashews) due to Peanut allergies. You may send a water bottle. Please only send water due to the fact that other drinks stain or are sticky if they are spilled. Please pack snacks in a resealable baggie or container so that anything uneaten may be put back into their backpack.
Can I send cupcakes for my child's birthday?
Yes you can! Please send enough for every student. You can drop them off in the office and we will enjoy them the last hour of the day. Sometimes all of that icing can get a bit messy so if you can send napkins as well, that would help out a bunch!
