• Important Information

Friday Folders: All important information and graded papers will be sent home every Tuesday in your student's Tuesday Folder. This is to ensure that there is no lost communication between the school and parents. Weekly conduct will be written in the folder. Please sign and return the folder by Wednesday. If it is not returned by Wednesday, your student will get a conduct mark. Please carefully read all papers and look over graded papers. A cover page will be stapled to the graded papers for you to sign and return. Your signature will be proof that you received and have accepted the grades on the papers. You may keep the papers at home.

Grades: It is imperative for students to learn from their mistakes. If your student earns a grade below a 70, I will give them one chance to raise their grade to a 70. It will be their responisbility to complete and turn in the assignment.

Daily Homework Planners: Your child will be given a planner. The planner will be used to record daily homework assignments. This will make sure you are aware of your child's assignments for the week.

Daily Work: Daily work will be checked the day after it is assigned. Any unfinished daily work will be sent home Thursday nights and is to be returned on Friday. Any late assignments will result in 10 points per day deducted for up to 30 points (3 days).

Progress Reports and Report Cards: Progress reports will be sent home every 4 1/2 weeks to keep you informed of your student's grades and missing assignments. Progress reports should be signed and returned to school the day after they are sent home. Report cards are sent home every 9 weeks.

Parent Teacher Conferences: Conferences are an important part of your student's education. Conferences can be useful when you want an update on your student's progress or if we need your help in solving a classroom problem with your student. As your child will have three teachers this year, we like to all be in attendance during parent conferences. Our conference time is 8:45-9:30. Early morning and after school conferences are available upon request. Email is the best way to get a speedy response when scheduling a conference.
