Student Expectations

  • Conduct

    Each child in our school and in our class has the right to be educated in a learning environment where he or she feels safe and respected. We encourage positive comments and support. We do not tolerate negative comments, or inappropriate language. We will follow the AISD Student Handbook for Conduct and Dress Code. Please familiarize yourself with these policies.

    Our grade level expectations are:

          1.      Be mindful of yourself, others, and property.
          2.      Raise your hand to speak and wait to be recognized.
          3.      Come to class with appropriate materials.
          4.      Follow directions and remain on task at all times.

    Consequences:

    1st Offense                    Verbal Warning

    1 Mark                        Miss 5 minutes recess

    2 Marks                       Call Home/Miss 5 minutes recess

    3 Marks                       Morning Detention

    4 Marks                       Office Referral

    Severe offenses (Zero Tolerance)

    Fighting, knives or weapons at school, inappropriate language, or destruction of property are immediately referred to the Principal’s Office and parents are notified. Consequences will be determined by an administrator.
