I was born and raised in Alvin. I attended Alvin Primary, Alvin Elementary, Alvin Junior High and graduated from Alvin High School in 1997. I went on to play soccer at Texas Lutheran University before transfering to Mary Hardin-Baylor where I continued my soccer career and graduated with a degree in Physical Education in 2001. I began working at Hood-Case in 2007 and I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful school. I married my husband in 2008 and together we enjoy running, anything soccer related and running around with our dog and our 3 beautiful children.
My main motivation as a PE teacher is to help kids understand that health and fitness should be a part of their daily lives. My goal is for every student to bring home what they learn in Hood-Case PE, to their families and encourage everyone to "to get up, get out, and move".
