Purchasing Cooperatives |
Purchasing Cooperatives are avenues of procuring items not available via an AISD bid. Most commonly, these are a category of items which AISD might purchase infrequently or in small quantities where preparing our own bid is more expensive than using a coop. Coops offer: guaranteed pricing, delivery, and vendors that have been scrutinized by the coop administrator. They are still our last resort to our own bids, but do afford the district a favorable avenue when no other exists. |
