Facility Advisory Committee Ensuring the continued success of our students
The Alvin Independent School District has been noted as one of the fastest growing school districts in the Houston area. Keeping that in mind, the district has deemed it necessary to be proactive in planning for the future. In order to ensure continued student success, the district has formed a Facility Advisory Committee (FAC), which consists of a host of parents, community members, and Alvin ISD staff members. It is the responsibility of the committee to collectively determine current and future facility needs of the district, and determine best practices in addressing these needs.
