The Lone Star list is a group of books recommended by school and public librarians throughout the state of Texas. These books come from a variety of current popular authors for students in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and explore a variety of topics and interests. Welcome to a new school year Warriors! There are some exciting things awaiting you in the MJH Library. Our school library will have 6 Nooks that students can check out in order to experience ereaders and electronic books. We have also expanded our collection of Playaways, which are audio books. This year MJH will also be defending our district title in the Guerilla Games to be held in February. So get your team together and start reading the Lonestar Books. You might be interested in being a part of our MoJo Sampler Reading Club. Read a total of 12 books from any of our state reading lists, take and pass the AR test on them and you'll get an invitation to the library end of year field trip. Be sure you are taking AR tests on all the books you read so YOU can attend this year's Reading Celebration. You won't want to miss it!
