Tiffany Wennerstrom

Tiffany Wennerstrom was elected to Position 4 for a three year term beginning May 2010. Mrs. Wennerstrom graduated from Texas A&M University and is a former teacher. She and her husband, Johnny, are the parents of two children and are active in school booster clubs and the First United Methodist Church of Alvin.
 Eddie Martinez Eddie Martinez, Position 5

Mr. Martinez is a local businessman. He previously served on the board in Position 6 from 1999 to 2002. He was elected in 2006 to fill the unexpired term of Position 5 for one year and then was elected to a full three year term in Position 5 in 2007 and again in 2010. Mr. Martinez graduated from Alvin High School. He and his wife, Laura, are owners of The Old Ballpark in Alvin.
 Charles McCauley Charles McCauley, Position 7

Mr. McCauley is a retired educator who taught at Alvin High School for 40 years. He is a graduate of Alvin High School and holds a Bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University and a Master's degree from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. He and his wife, Peggy, a retired school employee, have two children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. McCauley is involved in numerous community organizations.
Sue Stringer Sue Stringer, Position 6

Mrs. Stringer was elected to her first term in May 2011. She is a licensed insurance agent and retirement planning specialist. She is President and CEO of Liberty Road Financial Services in Alvin, and a graduate of Alvin Community College with a degree in Business Management Development. She also holds a Master in Estate Preservation Certification from the Arts Institute for Estate Planning. She and her husband, Toby, have made Alvin their home for 35 years. They have three daughters, all graduates of Alvin High School and now have three grandchildren in the Alvin schools. They are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Alvin. She is the current President of the Bayou Republican Women and serves on the Board of Directors of Hand-in-Hand Child Development Center.
Mike Lansford

Mike Lansford was elected to Position 1 for a three year term, which began in May 2012. He is an owner of Independent Insurance Counselors. He is a 1977 graduate of Alvin High School, and attended Alvin Community College for two years. Lansford received his Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from Texas A&M University at Galveston in 1981. He and his wife Tammi have two children; Jim and Lauren,who are graduates of Texas A&M University and Southwestern University, respectively.Mr. Lansford is involved in numerous community organizations.
Regan Metoyer

Regan Metoyer was elected to Position 2 for a three year term which began May 2012. Regan has worked in higher education for more than 16 years, and is currently a college administrator at Alvin Community College, where she also obtained her Associates of Arts degree. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston, and her Master of Arts in Behavioral Science from the University of Houston Clear Lake. Metoyer is the mother of Alexis, 15 and Gavin, 5. She is an active member of Rotary, Soroptimist International, and is also a board member at the Thelma Ley Anderson Family YMCA.

Cheryl Harris

Cheryl Harris, a 1984 graduate of Alvin High School, was elected to Position 3 in May 2012 for a three year term. Harris, who currently works as an Administrative Manager & Consumer Directed Services Coordinator at Imagine Enterprises, received her associate’s degree from Alvin Community College in 1987. Harrisand her husband Mark are the parents to two daughters, Shelby, who is a sophomore at Alvin Community College, and Hailey a freshman at Houston Baptist University. Mrs. Harris has been a highly involved member of the Alvin High School Jacketeer Booster Club, and the Yellowjacket Booster Club where she has served as the treasurer and secretary, respectively.
