Our Police Officers are available twenty four hours a day seven days a week to serve and protect the students, staff and properties of Alvin ISD. Alvin ISD is a progressive and continually growing school district encompassing 255 square miles in three municipalities. These boundaries include the City of Alvin, Manvel and Pearland as well as un-incorporated areas of Brazoria County.
Under the command of Chief Michael Putnal, 17 full-time sworn officers, 4 part-time sworn officers, and 2 dispatchers work together to keep watch over Alvin ISD 's, 2 high schools, 5 junior high schools, 14 elementary schools, the ASSETS Academy and over 16,000 students.
The Alvin ISD Police Department is centrally located which helps in responding to calls at any point within our vast school district.
